What is this material

This ornamental thread is made from polyester, spun into a sturdy thread with a lovely sheen. Thanks to this composition, the colour stays bright for longer and doesn't fade quickly through washing. The thread is strong and won't snap easily, even with regular use on your sewing machine. The smooth finish means the thread glides through fabric without snagging or pilling. You'll notice straight away the quality that Gütermann has been known for across decades.
