Stretch Satin – Lightweight (100 gr/m²)

Our classic stretch satin is made from 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a width of 145cm and a weight of 100 grams per m². This lightweight version drapes beautifully and is the versatile all-rounder in our satin range. The fabric is soft, fluid and available in a wide range of colours — from classic black and navy to vibrant reds, pinks and greens. With a glossy finish on the right side, it is ideal for lined garments, flowing skirts, blouses and elegant eveningwear.

Double-Sided Stretch Satin – Premium (160 gr/m²)

Our premium double-faced stretch satin is made from 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a width of 150cm and a weight of 160 grams per m². As the name suggests, this fabric has a finished satin surface on both sides — there is no "wrong side". The extra weight gives the fabric more body and a richer, more luxurious drape. This makes it ideal for unlined garments, reversible designs and pieces where the inside may be visible. The Double Face label confirms the premium double-sided finish.

Sewing and Care Tips

• Needle: stretch or microtex needle size 75–90; stitch length 2.0–2.5mm
• Cutting: use sharp scissors or a rotary cutter on an anti-slip mat; satin shifts easily so pin generously
• Test first: satin is sensitive to needle holes — always test on a scrap piece before sewing the actual garment
• Ironing: low temperature only, always use a pressing cloth or iron reverse side; never iron directly on the glossy surface
• Washing: 30°C delicate or hand wash, inside out; no tumble dryer; air dry flat or hanging
• Pre-wash: recommended before cutting; expect approximately 2–4% shrinkage on first wash
