Bubble chiffon fabric is a lightweight woven fabric with a distinctive crinkled surface texture, sold by the metre at Rijs Textiles. The bubbled structure gives it more body than flat chiffon while keeping the same soft drape and semi-transparency. Composition and Specifications

This fabric is made of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which gives it just enough give without losing its structured, bubbly surface. It has a width of 150 cm and a weight of 130 grams per square metre, so it counts as a lightweight fabric that still holds its shape better than standard chiffon. The semi-transparency means it's often combined with a lining, depending on what you're making.
