1: Scope
1.1 These general terms and conditions of "rijstextiles.com - Rijs Textiles" (hereinafter: "Seller") apply to all agreements that a consumer or company (the "Customer") concludes with the seller regarding the sale displayed in the online store and merchandiser / or services.
1.2 A consumer in the context of these terms is any natural person who enters into a transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to either commercial or independent professional activity. A contractor is understood in the sense of these terms as any natural or legal person or legal partnership that, when concluding a contract, is part of their own business or commercial activity.

3: The Prices
The prices stated by the Seller are final and include the legal VAT (see schedule). If applicable, additional delivery and shipping costs are indicated in the offer next to the product.

* Shipping costs remain the same regardless of the number of products and meters.
4: Ordering and Delivery
4.2 Delivery will take place, unless otherwise agreed, to the delivery address you provided. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon receipt of the delivery, even in the case of partial deliveries.
4.3 If the shipping company returns the shipped goods to the seller because delivery to the customer was not possible, the customer is responsible for the costs of the failed delivery. This does not apply if the customer refuses because they are exercising the right to return, the customer is not satisfied with the condition of the package that led to the impossibility of delivery, the customer was temporarily prevented from determining the offered service.
4.4 The seller reserves the right to withdraw in the event of incorrect or non-proper delivery of the contract. This only applies in the case of non-delivery that cannot be attributed to the Seller, and this has been completed with the necessary care. The Seller will make every reasonable effort to procure the goods. In the event of non-availability or only partial availability of the product, the customer will be informed immediately and a refund or compensation will be made immediately.
5: The Purchase Agreement
The presentation of products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer. By pressing the "Confirm Order" button, you place a binding order for the goods (excluding the wholesale quotation). The confirmation of your order takes place together with the acceptance of the order, which occurs automatically after sending via email. With this email, a confirmation of the purchase agreement is concluded.

7: Returns
You may cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. These 14 days start on the day you, or someone you designated and who is not the carrier, receives the product.
To cancel your purchase, you must inform us (Rijs Textiles BV, Docklands 1, 5026 SL Tilburg - The Netherlands, [email protected] - Phone: + 31 137370133) via a clear email stating that you are canceling the purchase. You may use the attached cancellation form, but this is not mandatory. Make sure to inform us in time, within the 14 days.
We will refund all amounts you have paid up to now, including shipping costs (except for additional costs if you have chosen a more expensive shipping method). We will do this as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you are canceling the purchase. We will refund you in the same way as you paid, unless you have agreed otherwise. This will cost you nothing extra. Send the product back to us within 14 days after your cancellation or give it to us. You are on time if you send the product before the 14 days have passed. You are only responsible for the decrease in value of the product if you have used it more than was necessary to assess whether you wanted to keep it.
The cancellation right does not apply to products that:
- have been specially made for you according to your specifications and were not already ready (for example, custom cutting of fabrics and haberdashery);
- cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery;
- have been mixed with other products after delivery and can no longer be separated.
8: Warranty
The warranty on the delivered goods is in accordance with the legal provisions and has a duration of 2 years legal warranty from the date of shipment of the goods. The warranty expires if the consumer modifies the product, washes, cuts, or otherwise changes the original condition.
9: Color Differences
Please note that we are not liable for color differences between the photos on the internet and the goods. We therefore offer the possibility to order a sample of the desired product. Commercial color deviations and differences in the structure of goods between delivered samples and delivered goods or between individual deliveries are inevitable and do not confirm a defect.
10: Registration
The customer must confirm the registration at www.rijstextiles.com. By doing so, the customer agrees to our general terms and conditions.
11: Applicable Law
- 11.1 Dutch law, not the UN-Sales Law.
12: Retention of Title
The goods remain in our ownership until full payment of all claims on the customer.
13: Privacy Policy
Personal data are only for the execution of the agreement.
