Product Features:

• Item Number: G30-143
• Composition: 100% Polyester
• Thickness: no. 120
• Length: 30 Metre

What is this material

This ornamental thread is made from polyester, spun into a sturdy strand with a lovely sheen that mimics silk. The thickness of this thread is slightly coarser than regular sewing thread, which makes it ideal for visible stitches that need that extra bit of presence. The thread is strong and doesn't break easily, even with repeated tension during stitching. Thanks to the polyester composition, the color stays true after washing and doesn't fade quickly. The 30-meter spool has plenty of length for several smaller projects or finishing work.

Applications

You'll use this blue ornamental thread anywhere a stitch should be both visible and decorative. Think of these kinds of projects:

• Decorative topstitching on jeans and denim
• Finishing buttonholes
• Decorative seams on bags and accessories
• Embroidery work with accent details
• Finishing pockets and hems
• Topstitching on jackets and blazers
• Quilting where the stitch line remains visible
• Handcraft projects that call for sturdy thread
