What is this material

This ornamental thread from Gütermann is made from polyester with a lovely sheen that catches the light beautifully in your stitching. The thread is firmly twisted, which you'll notice right away in the smooth finish and how smoothly it glides through the needle without fraying. The thread is made to be visible in your work, so the colour fastness and sheen are designed with that in mind. Gütermann has been known for years for the reliable quality of their threads, and you'll feel that directly when you start sewing with it. The 30-metre spools are compact enough to fit in your sewing box, yet still give you plenty of thread for a project.
