About This Material

Gütermann Ornamental And Button Hole Thread is made from polyester with a distinctive silk sheen, so the thread catches light nicely on your fabric. The threads are firmly twisted, giving you high tensile strength so the thread won't break easily during sewing. With thickness no. 120, this thread is noticeably thicker than regular sewing thread, exactly right for decorative stitches that need to stand out. The old pink colour is rich and holds fast to washing, keeping your work looking good even after many washes. Gütermann has been known for years as a reliable brand in haberdashery, and you notice it right away in the finish of this spool.
