About this material

This ornamental thread is spun from polyester fibres, which gives it natural lustre and excellent colour retention. The thread is tightly twisted for even stitching without fuzz or breakage as you sew. Thanks to the polyester base, the thread holds up beautifully through washing and pressing, and barely loses its sheen over time. The thickness is a bit heavier than regular sewing thread, specifically designed to stand out in your stitching. Gütermann has been delivering consistent quality for years, so every spool feels and sews the same.
