What is this material

This Gütermann ornamental thread is spun from polyester, which makes the thread strong and durable without pilling or breaking easily. The silk sheen gives the stitch a lovely appearance, making your embroidery really stand out on the fabric. Thanks to the firm twist, the thread holds its shape well even at higher sewing speeds, without tangling or matting. The thread resists ironing and washing, so your work stays beautiful for years to come. A reliable brand that sewists have trusted for generations.

Applications

Ornamental thread in bronze is a great choice for projects where the stitch itself becomes part of the design. Think of:

• Stitching buttonholes
• Decorative seams on bags and accessories
• Hand or machine embroidery
• Finishing leather or suede projects
• Accent lines on denim and denim fabric
