About this material

This ornamental thread from Gütermann is made from polyester, a material known for its strength and durability. The thread has a lovely silk sheen, which makes decorative stitches stand out and gives a polished look. Thanks to its sturdy structure, the thread won't break easily, even with heavy use on thicker fabrics. The light grey colour is neutral enough to pair with many different fabric shades, but has enough character to serve as a decorative element. Gütermann has been trusted for years in the sewing community, and this thread is no exception.
