What is elastic edging ribbon

Elastic edging ribbon is a narrow strip made from a blend of polyamide and elastane, which means it stretches with your fabric in both directions. Unlike regular bias binding, this version is specifically designed for stretch fabrics, so the edge stays soft and flexible rather than tight or rigid. The ribbon has a subtle shine and smooth finish, comfortable against the skin and durable through washing. You'll find a light fold line down the middle, making it easy to fold the ribbon around the edge of your fabric and stitch it down. Within our elastic edging ribbon collection, white is one of the most popular basic shades.
