Elastic Edging Ribbon Fuchsia 17mm

This bright fuchsia colour catches the eye immediately and has a subtle sheen that you often see on elastic binding ribbon. The band is supple, lightly glossy and feels sturdy enough to give a neat finish, yet stays flexible thanks to the stretch built in. On the roll you can see the folded structure nicely with the centre fold, ready to be clamped straight onto your fabric edge.

What is elastic edging ribbon

Elastic edging ribbon is a narrow band made especially to finish edges on stretch fabrics neatly without losing the stretch. Because elastane is woven into it, the band moves along with the fabric when you sew it on, for example on a neckline or leg opening. The band has a light sheen and a smooth finish that feels pleasant against the skin. You simply fold the band around the edge of your fabric and stitch it down, the existing fold in the middle makes this extra easy. Fuchsia is a colour that works well with both neutral and bright fabrics and gives your project an instant playful accent.

This type of edging ribbon is widely used when sewing garments and underwear where stretch and comfort matter. Think of:
