What is elastic bias binding

Elastic bias binding is a narrow, stretchy tape designed to move with stretch fabrics. The blend of polyamide and elastane keeps the binding supple and lets it bounce back to shape after stretching. The material feels soft against skin, making it suitable for edges that sit directly on the body. The binding has a subtle sheen and smooth finish without feeling stiff or rubberlike. Thanks to its elastic properties, this bias binding is much easier to work with than traditional binding when you're dealing with stretchy materials.
