Elastic Edging Ribbon Light Aqua 17mm

This bias binding in light aqua has a fresh, summery tone that brings to mind clear water. The fabric has a subtle sheen and a supple, stretchy structure that you'll notice the moment you pull it off the roll. The ribbon comes pre-folded double with a clear fold line running down the middle, so you can clamp it right around an edge and stitch it down. A lovely neutral shade that works well with light stretch fabrics like swimwear, bikinis and sportswear.

What is elastic bias binding

Elastic bias binding is a knitted jersey tape with give along its length, specially made to finish the edges of stretch fabrics while keeping your garment's elasticity intact. The combination of polyamide and elastane keeps the ribbon supple and responsive to the fabric's movement. It comes pre-folded with a gentle crease down the middle, so you can tuck your fabric edge right in between. The finish is smooth and lightly lustrous, comfortable against skin and durable through washing. This makes it just right for garments that get lots of movement or sit snugly against the body.
