What is elastic edging ribbon

Elastic edging ribbon is a woven band with built-in stretch, made specifically to finish the edges of stretch fabrics neatly and durably. The mix of polyamide and elastane means the ribbon keeps its shape and moves with the fabric as you sew. It has a subtle shine and smooth, comfortable feel against skin, making it great for garments worn close to the body. The two folded side edges make it simple to wrap the ribbon around a raw edge and stitch it down. You can find this type of ribbon in our elastic bias binding range in various colors.
