What is elastic edging ribbon

Elastic edging ribbon is a narrow band made specifically to finish the edges of stretch fabrics while keeping the stretch intact. The mix of polyamide, polyester and elastane keeps the ribbon supple and bouncy after stretching. The matte finish gives a subtle, non-glossy look that works well with knits, jersey and other stretch materials. You simply fold the ribbon around your fabric edge and stitch it down, and the elastic properties mean the edge stays shaped and flexible. This makes it an essential notions item for anyone who works with stretch fabrics.
