Elastic Edging Ribbon Mat Cobalt 20mm

This cobalt blue shade really catches the eye - a deep, saturated blue tone with a matte, soft finish that doesn't shine but definitely adds character to any edge. The ribbon sits smoothly and has noticeable stretch along the length, as you can see in the photo how it folds around the spool. A lovely, sturdy colour that works well with both neutral and bright stretch fabrics.

What is elastic edging ribbon

Elastic edging ribbon is a narrow band designed specifically to finish the edges of stretch fabrics while keeping their stretch intact. With elastane in the blend, the ribbon moves with the fabric, so seams stay supple and won't pull or dig in. The polyamide and polyester mix gives you a band that's strong and holds its shape, even after many washes. The matte finish means it doesn't stand out as a shiny accent but blends quietly into the whole look. Works great for finishing both straight and curved edges.
