Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Unbleached Natural

Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Unbleached Natural

This fabric shows a soft, warm Unbleached Natural tone that looks almost creamy where the light catches the folds. Up close you can spot the slub texture running through the weave, small irregular thickenings in the yarn that give the surface a gentle, handmade character rather than a flat, uniform look. The washed matte finish and the way the cloth gathers into soft, rounded folds point to a fabric with medium drape, relaxed enough to flow but still holding its shape where needed.

A cotton fabric with a linen look

This cotton fabric has a beautiful linen look, which gives it a natural and slightly textured appearance without actually being linen. It combines the comfort and breathability of cotton with the visual character of linen, so you get an easy care fabric that still looks rustic and organic. The slub effect you see in the weave comes from slub yarns, which are spun with deliberate thick and thin sections along their length. When woven, these irregularities create small bumps and texture variations across the cloth, giving it that lived in, artisanal look that plain, even yarns simply cannot produce. It is this detail that makes the fabric feel more interesting on the table or on a hanger than a standard smooth cotton.
