Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Dark Beige

Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Dark Beige

This fabric shows a warm Dark Beige shade that reads soft and muted in natural light. Look closely at the folds and you can spot the slub texture running through the weave, those small irregular thickenings that give the yarn its character and the fabric its handmade feel. The finish is matte with a washed quality to it, and the way it gathers into loose folds shows a nice medium drape that falls naturally without being stiff.

What makes slub cotton special

Slub yarn is spun with small, intentional irregularities along its length, which is what creates the subtle bumps and texture you see across the surface of this fabric. This cotton has a beautiful linen-look appearance, giving it a natural and lightly structured feel without actually being linen. It stays soft and breathable, combining the comfort of cotton with the visual character of linen, which makes it a great pick for shirts, dresses, skirts and relaxed everyday clothing. The slub effect also means no two metres look exactly alike, so every piece you cut carries its own bit of texture and depth.

Thanks to its light weight and natural drape, this fabric adapts well to both clothing and home projects. Consider it for:
