Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Mocca Brown

Cotton Slub Washed Fabric Mocca Brown

This fabric carries a warm, chocolatey Mocca Brown tone that looks soft and inviting under any light. The slub texture is clearly visible in the folds, with small irregular thickenings running through the yarn that give the surface a bit of texture and life. It has a matte, washed look with a subtle sheen-free finish, and the way it falls in loose folds shows a nice medium drape that feels pleasant to work with.

What is slub cotton

Slub yarn is spun with small, irregular thickenings left in on purpose, rather than being evened out like standard yarn. When woven, this creates a fabric with a naturally uneven, slightly bumpy surface instead of a flat, uniform one. This particular fabric has a lovely linen-look thanks to that slub structure, giving it a natural and gently textured appearance even though it is pure cotton. It stays soft and breathable, combining the comfort of cotton with the relaxed, organic look of linen. That makes it a lovely choice for shirts, dresses, skirts and other casual clothing where you want a bit of texture without sacrificing softness.
