Jersey Cotton Fabric Digital Print - Spring Starflower

On a creamy ivory ground blooms a dense flower field in soft shades of pink, powder blue, ochre yellow and warm brown. The starflowers and small daisies are drawn close together with fine lines, as if you're looking at an embroidered vintage wallpaper. The matte finish and soft drape of this jersey make the print extra lively without any shine or stiff feel. Why this jersey prints so beautifully

For this fabric we use combed compact yarn Ne 30/1. With this yarn, the short, uneven cotton fibers are combed out of the thread, leaving only long, uniform fibers that are twisted tightly together. The result is a yarn that is smoother, stronger and less fuzzy than regular carded yarn. For reactive digital printing that's worth its weight in gold, because a smoother surface takes up the ink more evenly and keeps the outlines of each flower petal sharp, instead of colors bleeding into rough fibers. That's how you get the refined, almost drawn look of the starflower print, with crisp color transitions and a depth you rarely see in standard jersey.

What is Compact Yarn?
Compact Yarn is a type of yarn that is produced using a compact spinning method, which is a newer and advanced spinning technique developed in the late 20th century. Compact yarns are yarns with a special spinning technique, where the fibers are twisted into a very small twisting triangle, which eliminates fibers.
