Bamboo Twill Fabric Red

Bamboo Twill Fabric Red

This red twill has a bold, saturated tone that shifts gently with the light as the fabric folds and turns. Up close you can spot the fine diagonal ribbing that marks a true twill weave, giving the surface a quiet texture instead of a flat look. It falls into soft, rounded folds while still keeping a structured shape, which means a finished garment holds its silhouette without turning stiff or boxy.

What this fabric is made of

This fabric combines bamboo fibre with a small share of nylon, giving it the breathability and softness bamboo is known for alongside a bit of extra resilience and shape retention from the synthetic fibre. The twill construction is what creates that diagonal rib pattern on the surface, a weave that tends to drape better and crease less than a plain weave. With a medium weight it sits nicely between light blouse fabrics and heavier coating material, making it a flexible choice across seasons. The matte finish keeps the red colour looking rich and grounded rather than shiny or plasticky, and there is no stretch in this fabric, so it holds its structured drape well. Crisp Air Finish

This fabric has been treated with a crisp air finish, a process that gives the surface a clean, slightly firm hand feel while keeping it light and breathable. Instead of weighing the fabric down, this finish helps it hold its shape during cutting and sewing, so edges stay neat and seams sit well. It also helps the fabric resist clinging, which is especially useful in garments like trousers or skirts where you want a clean, structured fall rather than a limp one.
