Bamboo Twill Fabric Dark Grey

Bamboo Twill Fabric Dark Grey

This dark grey twill has a cool, smoky depth that shifts gently between lighter and darker tones as the fabric folds and catches the light. Up close you can spot the fine diagonal ribbing that marks a true twill weave, giving the surface a subtle texture instead of a flat, plain look. The fabric gathers into soft, rounded folds while still holding its shape, which tells you there is real body in this cloth without any stiffness. The matte finish keeps the grey looking even and understated, so the colour comes across as refined and grounded rather than flashy.

What makes this bamboo twill special

This fabric is woven from a blend of bamboo and nylon fibres, which is why it feels both natural and durable at the same time. The bamboo content gives it a soft hand feel and good breathability, while the small amount of nylon adds strength and helps the fabric keep its structure over time. You can read more about how we source and certify our bamboo fibres on our bamboo certified page. The twill construction itself is what gives the fabric its diagonal rib pattern and its structured drape, so it falls in clean folds rather than clinging or sagging.

Crisp air finish explained

The crisp air finish is a treatment that leaves the surface of the fabric smooth and slightly crisp to the touch, without making it stiff or heavy. It helps the twill hold sharp pleats and clean lines, which is especially useful for tailored garments where you want the fabric to keep its shape through the day. This finish also contributes to the matte sheen you see in the photo, since it reduces shine and keeps the dark grey looking calm and natural under different lighting.
