Bamboo Twill Fabric Cognac

Bamboo Twill Fabric Cognac

This cognac twill catches the light in a really satisfying way, going deep and almost chocolate brown in the folds and lifting to a warmer, sunlit cognac where the fabric opens up. Up close you can see the fine diagonal ribbing typical of a twill weave, giving the surface a quiet texture rather than a flat finish. The fabric falls into soft, rounded folds while holding its shape well, a sign of good body without any stiffness.

What is this material

This fabric is a blend of bamboo and nylon fibres, woven in a classic twill construction that gives it its diagonal grain. The bamboo content brings a soft hand feel and high breathability, which makes the fabric pleasant against the skin and suitable for wear across the seasons. The small amount of nylon adds a bit of extra resilience and helps the fabric keep its structured drape over time. You can read more about the fibre on our bamboo certified page if you want to know more about where it comes from and how it is processed. The matte finish keeps the cognac tone looking warm and grounded rather than shiny, which suits both tailored and relaxed silhouettes.

Crisp Air Finish

This fabric has received a crisp air finish, a treatment that gives the weave a slightly firmer, cleaner surface without adding any stiffness. It helps the twill hold its shape in seams and pleats, keeps the diagonal ribbing crisp and visible, and gives the drape a more structured fall compared to an untreated fabric. The result is a fabric that looks tidy on the hanger and moves with a bit more definition once it is made up into a garment.
