Bamboo Twill Fabric Pastel Lilac

Bamboo Twill Fabric Pastel Lilac

This Pastel Lilac twill has a soft, powdery tone that catches the light differently depending on how the fabric falls, from quiet shadowed folds to brighter, smooth planes where it lies open. Look closely and you can see the fine diagonal twill ribbing running across the surface, giving the fabric a subtle grain instead of a flat appearance. It twists into rounded, well defined folds while holding its shape nicely, which tells you this fabric has real body without turning stiff or paper like. The matte finish keeps the lilac looking calm and clean under light, with nothing glossy pulling focus away from the colour itself.

What is bamboo twill fabric

Bamboo twill combines the softness of bamboo fibres with the strength and shape retention that nylon brings into the mix. The twill weave itself is what gives you that fine diagonal ribbing you can see and feel on the surface, and it is also what helps the fabric resist wrinkling better than a plain weave would. You can read more about this fabric family on our bamboo twill fabric page. Bamboo as a fibre is known for being breathable and naturally soft against the skin, and if you want to know more about how we source and certify it, have a look at our bamboo certified information.

Crisp air finish explained

The crisp air finish is a treatment applied to the fabric surface that gives it a clean, slightly dry hand feel rather than a soft or brushed one. It helps the fabric hold its shape and keeps the twill ribbing crisp and visible, which is exactly what gives this lilac fabric its structured drape. This finish also helps the fabric resist clinging and keeps it looking neat even after a full day of wear, making it a practical choice for tailored pieces.
