Angora Jersey Fabric Dark Green

Angora Jersey Fabric Dark Green

This dark green angora jersey has that unmistakable soft, almost woolly look that makes you want to touch it straight away. In the photo you can see how the brushed surface creates tiny fibres that catch the light in a matte way, no shine but with a rich depth of colour. The fabric drapes smoothly and forms soft folds, exactly what you want for clothing that flows along the body rather than stiffens against it.

What exactly is angora jersey

Angora jersey isn't a fabric made from real angora hair, but a knitted fabric with a brushed finish that mimics the typical soft, fluffy structure of angora wool. Thanks to the single jersey knit construction, this fabric combines good stretch in all directions with a light, airy drape. The brushed finish gives you that velvety feel on the front, while the back feels slightly smoother. Because of the elastane in the mix, the fabric holds its shape even after regular wear and washing. It's a fabric that keeps you warm without feeling heavy, making it great for cooler months.
