Fabric by the Metre – Wholesale Prices, Huge Selection

Rijs Textiles sells fabric, yarn and haberdashery by the metre. Order remnants and cut lengths from as little as 50 centimetres, or go through our fabric wholesale department if you need more than 6 metres. Over 10,000 items are in stock in Tilburg, with roughly 2,000,000 metres ready to ship. New fabrics arrive every week.

Our woven and knitted fabrics are produced mainly in China and Turkey. We buy a minimum of 500 metres per colour, which is how we keep prices sharp without cutting corners on quality. The range covers cotton jersey, sweat fabric, ribbed cuffing, linen and sturdy cotton canvas. Based in Tilburg, the textile city of the Netherlands, we draw on more than 50 years in the trade.

Home sewists, clothing designers, ateliers and fabric shops across Europe all buy from us, and we ship to more than 30 countries. Order 6 metres or more and you automatically move to wholesale pricing, whether you are a business or not. Designers putting together a sample collection often go for our mix packages, where you choose the composition yourself and still get the volume discount.

Everything you need to finish the garment: YKK zippers, Gütermann sewing threads, Schmetz needles, interfacing, bias binding, cord, lace trim, elastic and belt webbing.

Not everything gets sewn into clothing. Alongside fashion fabrics we carry a wide range of deco fabrics and dance fabrics: lycra, tulle, vegan leather, felt by the metre and upholstery weights. Every fabric drapes differently, and that difference is usually what decides whether a project works.
