For this fabric we use only combed compact yarn Ne 30/1. Combing removes the shorter, rougher fibers from the cotton, leaving only the longest and finest ones behind. Compact spinning then twists these fibers tightly and evenly together, without the fuzzy hairs you get with regular yarn. The result is yarn with a smoother surface and fewer irregularities, which is exactly what you need for reactive digital printing. Because the yarn surface is so even, the fabric takes up color more uniformly and the fine lines and shadows in a print, like the ink strokes in this panda design, stay razor sharp instead of blurry or blotchy.

What is Compact Yarn?
Compact Yarn is a type of yarn that is produced using a compact spinning method, which is a newer and advanced spinning technique developed in the late 20th century. Compact yarns are yarns with a special spinning technique, where the fibers are twisted into a very small twisting triangle, which eliminates fibers.
