What is cotton bias binding

Bias binding is a strip of fabric cut diagonally, on the bias, from the weave. This means the tape stretches slightly and follows curves smoothly like necklines, armholes and curved hems without puckering or pulling. Our cotton version is sturdy enough to give structure to the edge, but stays flexible when you're working with it. It's already folded in half, so you can clip the binding straight around your fabric edge and stitch it down without having to press and fold it yourself first.
