What is cotton bias binding

Bias binding is a strip of fabric cut diagonally, on the bias, from the weave. This gives the ribbon a natural stretch in all directions, making it extremely suitable for neatly finishing round or curved edges without the fabric puckering or bunching. This version is made from cotton, a breathable and sturdy material that presses well and is easy to stitch down. The edges are already folded in half, so you can clamp the ribbon directly around the fabric edge and stitch it down. Grass green is a colour that works well with both solid and printed fabrics.
