Processing and Sewing

Cotton voile can be sewn well with a domestic or industrial sewing machine. Preferably use a fine universal needle size 70–80 and fine polyester or cotton thread. Because voile is lightweight and semi-transparent, seams are visible from the right side — finish them neatly with an overlock stitch or a French seam for a professional result. Cut the fabric with sharp scissors or a rotary cutter and lay it flat to prevent shifting while cutting.

Care

Wash Cotton Voile Fabric Soft Pink at a maximum of 30°C using a delicate or hand-wash programme. Use a mild detergent and avoid tumble drying — allow the fabric to air dry to prevent distortion. Ironing at a low temperature, preferably inside out or with a pressing cloth, gives the best result. Thanks to the mercerised finish, shrinkage is limited, but pre-washing before sewing is still recommended.
